Lawrence McGahey

After years of serving in the military, police, and SWAT team, I have retired and am excited to continue my mission of protecting.

My Story

I enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1987 and, after completing Boot Camp at Parris Island, was assigned to Camp Pendleton for infantry school. Following my training, I underwent special weapons training for security forces and was stationed at the Trident nuclear submarine base in Bangor, Washington. After 18 months with the security forces, I moved to the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in 29 Palms, California, where I served in the heavy weapons platoon during the Gulf War with the 1st Battalion, 7th Marines.

After completing my four years of service, I pursued a degree in criminology at university. Upon graduation, I became a police officer in Malden, Massachusetts, where I served for 28 years. During that time, I worked with the FBI's violent crime task force and spent 15 years as a member of the SWAT team. For the past five years, I have been working in private security, providing executive protection for CEOs, musicians, actors, and former politicians across the Boston area.
